Preschool

Nolan started preschool yesterday.  He did great!  There were no tears and he was so excited to go back that one of the first things he asked this morning was if he had school today.  They did some singing and had snack (mini Oreos).  Those were the two highlights of the day since that is all he seems to be able to tell us about it.  I attempted to get a few pictures but he isn't always a very willing subject!

Trains and Animals

Nolan and Danielle took a trip to see Grandpa Steve last week.  It didn't end up being the greatest trip since Nolan got sick and their flight was cancelled on the way home but they did manage to have a little bit of fun while they were there! Nolan loves trains so they went to see the trains by Grandpa's house twice and they made a trip to the Fort Worth Zoo.  Nolan was very disappointed that he didn't get to see the elephants because it was too cold but he was pumped about the giraffes! He also loved feeding the birds.

Warm Winter Bike Ride!

The weather here has been wonderful! The other day Nolan and I took our first bike ride where he actually rode his own bike and pedaled the whole way all by himself.  I took a short video before we left to document how wonderful it feels to go for a bike ride in January!

Wii Tennis

We pulled out the Wii the other night.  It typically doesn't get used except to watch reruns of the Cozby Show and Thomas the Train on NetFlix but Nick actually put in a game. Nolan was curious about how it all worked and got a bit of tennis practice in.  He actually did pretty well with his technique! 

Sheriff Woody

Nolan dressed as Woody from Toy Story for our church's Trunk or Treat party last night.  He was so excited about his outfit that he was even asking kids that he saw, "you like my costume?" He also wanted to wear the outfit this morning when he woke up!

Shrek

Nolan loves watching the Shrek movies. Over the weekend we rented the latest movie for him and he got quite the kick out of watching Shrek change dirty diapers!
